We are Vietnamese and American teammates, united in the desire to provide great outdoor adventures in Southern Vietnam. The Highlands around Dalat and the coast around Phan Thiet are where we specialize and base our activities.

Welcome to Phat Tire Ventures. PTV Vietnam was created with the goal of providing challenging adventures deep into the unexplored regions of lesser developed countries. We understand how difficult it is to get off the established tourist track. And we are constantly exploring new routes and new places to mountainbike, hike, climb and explore. Canyoning
Are you an adrenalin junkie? Do you love the water? If so this adventure is for you! Professionally trained guides will show you the ropes and prepare you for the journey down the waterfalls. No previous experience necessary for this action-packed day of hiking, rappelling, swimming, and sliding down the falls!

Trekking
Our treks take you out into pristine pine forested hills, and deep jungle valleys. This is what Vietnam used to look like, and still does if you know where to go. Our treks range from 1 to 3 days and cover a wide range of diverse ecosystems as well as venturing out into remote minority villages and small farms.

Mountain Biking
Dalat has been described as a mountain bikers dream. Miles and miles of single track with loads of steep descents and punishing up hills for the serious biker, as well as more moderate routes for those who are new to the sport. Our trips range from short 2 to 3 hour rides to longer day trips and even a 2 day off road adventure. We also offer a great alternative to getting to the beautiful coastal beaches of Mui Ne (Phan Thiet) and Nha Trang by bike. We take the roads where the tourist buses can't go.

Rock Climbing
We have a variety of routes within 10 kilometers of Dalat that range from easy to extremely difficult. The canyon we climb in provides an excellent environment for high beginner, intermediate and advanced climbers. For those who have never climbed before, we head to a beautiful spot near a waterfall where newcomers to the sport can learn the basics of climbing and cut their teeth on beginner climbs. Climbing grades range from 5.7 to 5.11+? All of our climbing equipment meets the highest worldwide safety standards and our guides are all professionally trained to make your climbing experience a safe and exciting experience

Team Building
Attitude is everything. It can make or break the effectiveness of your organization. Do your employees choose to bring energy and a positive attitude to their job? PTV specializes in adding glue to the existing chemistry of your team. We facilitate activities which encourage leadership, communication, teamwork, and cooperation under pressure. Experiential learning is not only fun, but as Confucius succinctly stated in 450 B.C:

We can actually trace back the use of games and simulations thousands of years. Chess is an excellent example of this. Chess was developed by the military and was based on solving problems. We strive to offer experiences that are hands on and down to earth. We stay away from exercises that are too ‘touchy feely’.
